The Business Executive (Digital and Creative Industries) will be responsible for contributing to the research and implementation of economic initiatives and projects, and ensuring that these are delivered on time and within budget. The post holder will have responsibility for a varied portfolio of work related to both the mandate of Committee for Economic Development and the Government Work Plan, with a strong focus on supporting Guernsey’s digital and creative sectors.
The post holder will be required to provide professional research and analysis as part of a dynamic team under the direction of the Director of Business and Economy. The role will involve: leading the implementation of the actions from Digital Framework 2021-25; coordinating cross-committee meetings at both officer and political level; engaging with digital and creative sector representatives; and supporting the wider work of the Committee for Economic Development in a range of areas.
