Chief Information Officer

Do you have an excellent understanding of current and emerging technologies? An out-of-town company is seeking a part-time (25 hours a week), Chief Information Officer to join their team on a 2-year contract.  

Key responsibilities include:

• Identifying emerging technologies and trends relevant to the industry 
• Developing and executing a comprehensive IT and digital strategy 
• Establishing and enforcing IT governance policies and procedures 
• Managing the IT budget
• Building and leading an IT team 
• Ensuring compliance with security initiatives 
• Driving digital initiatives 
• Overseeing projects 
• Implementing data management strategies 
• Developing disaster recovery and business continuity plans

For this role, you need, knowledge of designing and managing complex IT systems, along with knowledge of software development methodologies and practices. In addition, you need strong change management skills, good strategic thinking, and team leadership skills.
