IT Applications Report Writer

Our client is looking for an IT Applications Report Writer to join their team. The successful candidate will assist in the design and implementation of the core financial system reporting. Working closely with the business users, the role encompasses the full development lifecycle, including design, implementation and deployment of reports.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience of report writing (eg SSRS, Business Objects, Front Reports)
  • Experience of programming languages (eg SQL, C#.Net, VB.Net, VBA, SAS)
  • Advanced PC skills; notably MS Office suite (MS Word & MS Excel), word processing and spreadsheet skills are essential
  • Experience of eFront and/or ViewPoint an advantage
  • Experience of BI and/or MI reporting an advantage
  • Knowledge of data analysis principles and best practices
  • Technical financial services industry knowledge an advantage
  • Technical qualification (part or fully qualified) and relevant business experience
  • Forward-thinker, with strong problem-solving skills and a methodical approach
  • Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical users, management and non-management users
