We have an exciting opportunity to join our IT Team, to support continued growth across our multiple sites.
Working in a small team to support employees in Guernsey, Jersey, Isle of Man and Isle of Wight, this role will be key in providing first class service desk support, both remotely and on site. Duties will include trouble shooting hardware and software errors, resolving faults, creating and maintaining internal and external company databases and web applications, as well as supporting ad hoc projects as and when they arise.
You must be curious and enthusiastic to learn, with a willingness to undertake further relevant and necessary qualifications. You must have first rate communication skills, be an analytical and creative problem solver, demonstrate high levels of accuracy and have a flexible approach to your work.
· Hold a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in IT or equivalent.
· Proven experience working in the IT sector, as a Systems Administrator or equivalent
· Proficient ICT skills with proven knowledge of Microsoft Office and varying databases
· Hold CompTIA A+ or equivalent
· Willingness to undertake further relevant and necessary qualifications.
A Junior Systems Administrator position would also be considered, with full training and support given. Minimum Grade ‘C’ or above in GCSE English, Maths, ICT or equivalent required.
