Our client is looking for a Trading Application Support Analyst with at least 1+ year experience to join their growing Trading Application Support team.
The Trading Application Support team is the first point of contact for any real-time operational/technical platform issues firm-wide. Issues are usually trading critical and require a lot of thought and technical skills, both to diagnose and to resolve.
The team also help manage the software change control to the trading platform working closely with the trading desk, understanding the interactions with the trading platform, how the various developer teams work, as well as in-house software and applications.
The desirable candidate will have application support experience or demonstrable understanding of app support and have at least 1 year of experience working in a technical field preferably with technical knowledge from an operational/financial technical background or have a 2:1 degree in a related subject or equivalent.
The team is responsible for supporting the trading platform 24/5, therefore, candidates must be able to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed or scheduled.
