The Whittaker Trust Student Bursary

The Whittaker Trust was established in Guernsey by the late Mary Whittaker to award bursaries to selected students studying an Undergraduate / Postgraduate degree in Medicine, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biochemistry or similar STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) subjects.

For the coming academic year, they are able to offer 3 bursaries to locally qualified students (UG or PG or equivalent level).
The Bursary will be a maximum of £3950 per year of study, typically paid pro-rata in the first month of each academic term however the payment schedule may be altered depending on the course and the student's circumstances. The award is for each year of study of the specific course, subject to appropriate progress being made each year. Applicants must have Guernsey residential qualifications.
For more information see:
http://www.whittakerbursary.gg/ There is an application form on the website. Unlike many bursaries, the award is free of any commercial interests and students will not have any requirements placed on them concerning employment after their studies.
Applications must be made using the Application Form and submitted before the closing date shown. You are welcome to include a C.V with your application but you must still answer all of the questions on the form. All applications will be acknowledged by email and short-listed candidates will be invited for an interview. Contact will be made with you using the email address shown in your Application Form – please make sure you check your email.

Please email enquiries@whittakerbursary.gg if you have any queries remembering to include your name, email address and phone number.
