As a Senior Consultant, you will apply your experience in delivering organisational change across CBO's diverse client portfolio. You will be supported by a highly skilled and collegiate team, along with a strong commitment to your ongoing professional development.
Key Responsibilities
1. Delivering Organisational Change
As a Senior Consultant, you will work with clients to ensure they are ready, willing and able to adopt and sustain change. This includes:
- Preparing organisations for change: aligning operating models, behaviours and culture with desired outcomes.
- Supporting leadership: ensuring senior leaders are visibly committed, focused on benefits, and equipped to drive change.
- Building ownership: helping individuals and teams understand what is changing, why it matters, and how to succeed.
- Embedding change strategies from the outset: ensuring people, processes, and culture are aligned to deliver lasting impact.
2. Leading Business Change Projects
You may also oversee the full lifecycle of change projects, including:
- Establishing and defining projects to ensure clear, deliverable outcomes.
- Managing delivery across planning, risks, issues, reporting and budgeting.
- Leading stakeholder engagement, including senior sponsors, programme managers and parallel workstreams.
- Guiding multi-disciplinary teams to achieve project outcomes.
You will be expected to deliver these responsibilities independently, including for projects with significant complexity, cost, profile or risk.
3. Contributing to CBO’s Growth and Quality
In addition to client delivery, Senior Consultants help to strengthen CBO’s capabilities by:
- Enhancing our methodologies and standards through active involvement in our Change Management and other Communities of Practice.
- Supporting business development by identifying client needs and shaping opportunities.
- Representing CBO at industry events and promoting our reputation as the leading provider of project and change services in the Channel Islands.
Requirements
Experience
Successful candidates:
- Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience delivering organisational change, gained either;
- in-house within or leading a business change function,
- or in a client-facing consulting role delivering change management services on complex transformation projects.
- Will be able to demonstrate proven expertise in change management methodologies (e.g. Prosci, Kotter, ADKAR) and their practical application in project environments.
- Will have a track record of delivering successful organisational change, culture change, or behavioural change programmes.
- Preferably hold certification in change management or organisational development (e.g. Prosci, APMG Change Management).
- Would ideally have experience delivering formally structured projects and may hold an associated Project Management qualification.
- Will have strong facilitation skills and experience influencing at all levels of an organisation to build alignment and embed new ways of working.
