An introduction to iDEA with U3A
This workshop will be run by the Digital Greenhouse in collaboration with the U3A and is designed to introduce you to the iDEA digital award scheme and get you started on a couple of badges.
What is iDEA?
iDEA stands for Inspiring Digital Enterprise Award, it is an international programme aiming to help people develop their digital skills online for free, set up by The Duke of York.
By signing up to iDEA you can:
- Enhance your skills and knowledge
- Improve your digital literacy
- Learn tips and techniques about staying safe online
- Discover talents you didn’t know you had
- Get more confident with technology
Come along to this free session to introduce you to the platform and help you get started. We will offer step-by-step guidance for one or two select badges at Bronze Level.
Laptops will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own device if you prefer. You must have a current email address to be able to register with iDEA and set up your account.
