The Digital Greenhouse are hosting an exclusive webinar with Charles Mindenhall, co-founder of Blenheim Chalcot, the UK’s largest venture builder.
It will focus on the importance of adopting an agile strategy, what an ‘agile strategy’ really means and how it can be applied within your own businesses.
During the pandemic, this ability to think, pivot and adapt at speed, has been incredibly important to the businesses within the Blenheim Chalcot portfolio. Charles will talk about these experiences, with particular reference to Koodoo, a digital mortgage platform and BC business, which had to adapt its business model extremely quickly in response to the health crisis.
Who are Blenheim Chalcot?
Blenheim Chalcot was founded back in 1998 by Charles Mindenhall and his business partner Manoj Badale, and is living proof of the importance of agile strategy. Starting up as Netdecisions in 1988, BC itself formed from the reformation of this business. BC’s ventures have remained agile ever since, as they have established their product-market fit, often pivoting their business model multiple times to get it right.
This fast-thinking and adaptable approach has led BC to become the UK’s largest venture builder, with a successful track record of building over 40 companies and a current portfolio value of over £900m. Rather than just investing funds in ventures, they instead support them from startup to scale to exit, by working alongside entrepreneurs and co-founders to give them access to the global networks and services they need for their businesses to grow.
Blenheim Chalcot are working in partnership with the Digital Greenhouse to deliver the SMART Guernsey Economic Development programme. This is a programme that aims to make Guernsey a go-to place for building digital businesses; by leveraging Guernsey’s unique advantages and strong foundations, to build a world-class environment for innovative, digital businesses to thrive.
We are very much looking forward to it and hope you can join us.
