About this Event

This course is aimed at anyone who wants to improve their digital skills and build knowledge of how to get the most from digital marketing. It is suitable for newcomers to the topic or those with some practical experience who want to improve their skills.

It covers the full range of digital marketing disciplines to ‘fast-track’ your knowledge. Including tactical and strategic elements across a full spectrum of knowledge levels.

As well as covering each of the different digital channels and best practice for their use, the course will also cover strategic planning and the effective use of data and analytics for calculating ROI.

Using practical examples from relevant organisations throughout, and giving attendees the opportunity to try out various tools and techniques, the course will take a real hands-on and practical approach.

Programme Director: Daniel Rowles

Daniel is Programme Director at Imperial College London where teaches Digital Marketing and Digital Transformation. He is has been a Programme Director for The Chartered Institute of Marketing for the past 12 years, where he is also a Fellow. He is Programme Director for the Digital Leadership Programme in Jersey. The voice of the Digital Marketing Podcast (iTunes Top 20 Business Podcast), he is also an award winning author.

His career has covered both the technical and business aspects of digital marketing, meaning he is able to bridge the gap between the two and make best use of the tools and technology available.​He works with organisations of all shapes and sizes, from Hootsuite to the BBC and the Financial Conduct Authority.
