ESH Solutions recognize that over the last 18 months or so, the retail sector has become strained and has been greatly affected by the pandemic and both lockdowns.

One of ESH's aims is not just to try and give solutions to the sector but to also work with them to find out what/ where they can be of use to try and help the sector back on its feet, which in turn will help the community and economy.

ESH Solutions firmly believes that given their team’s experience, skills and understanding to help businesses they are well placed locally to help with digitizing their offerings, whether that business is a physical store with a small digital presence, a small digital start-up that needs some help or anything in between.

"I am the Business Development Manager for ESH Solutions, I am based in Guernsey and I am a Guernsey man born and bred.

My working experience has predominantly been in hospitality and retail even before leaving school.

I am a fully qualified chef partly trained in Guernsey but gained my qualifications in the South West of France whilst living there for 5 years.

Upon returning to the Island I decided to have a change of career and moved into retail, I have worked at Specsavers opticians, Norman Piette, IEB Trading, Guernsey Gas and Guernsey Post prior to the role I am currently in with ESH Solutions and I have been with the company for the last 21 months.

I feel that the experience I have gained within the sector has allowed me to have a good view as to how we can couple technology and retail together for the betterment and success of the sector which in the last couple of years has become more and more important."
