PowerBI is free Microsoft software anyone can use to create engaging, interactive reports and dashboards, based on data from one or many sources. Better data visualisation means better, faster decision making for you and your organisation.

This practical session assumes no prior knowledge of PowerBI, and by the end of the day, you will have the skills to build and share beautiful customised reports based on data in excel sheets, SharePoint lists and elsewhere.

Outline Of Course Content

  • Why use PowerBI?
  • Things to consider before starting
  • Finding your way around in PowerBI
  • Connecting to Excel and other data sources

Course Benefits

From attending this course you will have a good understanding of the benefits and capabilities of PowerBI.

You will have the skills to produce different visualisations of your data to match your needs. Where data needs to be modified or filtered, you will see how easy this is to do in PowerBI.

If others need to see your reports you will know how to share and publish your work.
