Hive Hackers (Primary School Sessions)
These sessions will run from 10:00am - 11:30am.
These weekly coding sessions for Year 5/6 students will teach the fundamental components of computational thinking are set up in the following schedule:
- Session 1: Sequencing
- Session 2: Loops
- Session 3: Debugging
- Session 4: Forever Loop
- Session 5: Conditionals
- Session 6: Events
For each of these sessions, there are a number of resources available.
Student resources include a student pack which should be downloaded or printed in advance of the session.
Ensure that students microphones and cameras are turned off when they join the session. To make the session easier to follow, advise students to utilise two devices if possible: One to join the video call on (phone), and one to work on (a laptop/computer).
