Speaker Alastair Banks has spoken all over Europe on this topic and will go through a 30 min session which includes actionable tips on what Personal Brand is, why you might need one and the steps you should take to improve yours.

Following the live-streamed session with Alastair there will be a thirty minute discussion facilitated by Nichole which will explore the key points from the presentation in a local context. The pair will be on hand to answer questions about LinkedIn and other relevant digital channels and the importance of having a positive digital footprint.

Course Tutors

Alastair Banks co-founded Optix Solutions, a digital marketing agency when he was just 19 out of a bedroom at Exeter University with a few course mates. Over the last 20+ years that company has grown into one of the leading digital agencies in the country, employing around 20 people and working with the likes of the Met Office, Exeter University, the NHS & London Business School.

Alastair has a passion for public speaking and has talked at events all over Europe. He has spoken on Exeter University's MBA as well as the prestigious MBA program at London Business School both on the topic of digital trends.

His work includes two online masterclasses which have been taken by over 20,000 people across 163 countries.

 

Nichole Culverwell Chart. PR, MCIPR is the Director of Black Vanilla and has over 25 years’ experience in the PR industry, working in Australia, the UK, and more recently, in the Channel Islands.

She has been a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) since 2004, is a Chartered practitioner and is the Vice Chair of the Channel Islands CIPR group. Nichole runs a number of different training courses for clients and with the GTA, including social media and writing for the web.

Having worked in-house, for large agencies as well as freelancing, Nichole specialises in reputation management strategies, media relations, crisis communications and copywriting.
