About GCSC:
With the remit of preparing, protecting and defending the Bailiwick from cyber threats, the GCSC operates under the oversight of the Committee for Home Affairs and the dedicated Guernsey team will be based at our new Cyber Operations Centre in St Peter Port.
The GCSC has been created as an advisory, support and coordination service for government, public bodies, Critical National Infrastructure providers, private sector organisations, third sector organisations, and, when appropriate, individuals. They are a "critical friend" rather than a regulator or law enforcement function, and our scope covers the whole Bailiwick. Their purpose is to help strengthen the Bailiwick’s resilience to an increasingly complex and impactful cyber threat landscape affecting essential services, the wider economy, and the community.
