Nendo designs clay pipe irrigation systems that improve yield up to 70 percent and promotes healthy soil. They have several aims, including:
- Safeguard against drought: Sustain food yields against drought with an irrigation system that reduces water evaporation by 100% against modern drip irrigation systems
- Empower farmers: Reduce cost for farmers by promoting water efficiency, reducing the need for fertilisers, and providing healthier yields season after season
- Develop virtuous economies: Work with local manufacturers to spread prosperity for every part of the agricultural supply chain
This is an opportunity for the Nendo team to take you behind the scenes of what they've been building, their rapid progress over the last few months, and why they're so excited about bringing Nendo to Guernsey.
They'll also share their vision for tackling water scarcity, supporting food security, and creating long-lasting climate infrastructure. They will be discussing their first Guernsey pilot projects - an exciting new chapter for the Nendo team.
