Charting Guernsey's Digital Future Speaker Three

With nearly a decade in public policy and strategy, James helps governments, businesses, and social enterprises turn data into action, specialising in cost-benefit analysis, policy appraisal, and economic modelling. Driving thought leadership across the Channel Islands through the Island Index, Global CEO Survey, and Value of the Third Sector. Previously also working to develop a five-year roadmap and digital-education strategy, securing new funding and skills initiatives for Jersey.

Justin Bellinger

Transformation, Innovation & Inspiration Panel Panel Chair

Responsible for global growth strategy, particularly in relation to iGaming and Media. Justin specialises in identifying, qualifying and building new business models using emerging technologies. He has over two decades of experience in the telecoms industry; was a Certified Information Systems Security Professional for 9 years and now holds certifications in Digital Maturity and Digital Transformation. Justin has recently joined Innovate Guernsey as Chair of the Board.

Alpha Jobs, What's Next at the Top? Speaker One

Entrepreneur in Residence at UCL and a serial entrepreneur who founded his first software company at 13. He works at the forefront of AI innovation, leading the commercialisation of AI-driven research and supporting over 50 spin-outs and scale-ups. Passionate about the future of work, Dan shares his expertise through initiatives like the Digital Innovators Programme with the Digital Greenhouse, inspiring students and building AI literacy across the community.

Nichole Culverwell

Building Trust, Alignment and Action Speaker Two

Director and owner of Black Vanilla, with 30 years’ international experience in public relations. Nichole specialises in reputation management, corporate affairs, crisis, and internal communications. At Black Vanilla, she leads client services and promotes the agency’s culture, ensuring it stays ahead in a fast-evolving industry. A Chartered PR practitioner and CIPR Fellow, Nichole is also an active member of the Guernsey IoD committee. 

Cyrille Joffre

Cyrille is Chief Technology and Information Officer for Sure Group. He is responsible for all infrastructure across network, IT, security and operations. Previously, he was Chief Network & Technology Officer at Cable and Wireless Communications overseeing large projects and controlling network capital expenditure and operations for the Monaco & Islands (M&I) region.

Daniele Hartford-Fox

People, Skills & Change Panel Panel Chair

Daniele was appointed as Principal of The Ladies’ College in April 2022 and is an alumna of a Girls’ Schools Association school with a degree in Experimental Psychology from Oxford University. She is particularly passionate about the impact that technology and AI will have on the world and education. Her Novus Curriculum at Solihull was nationally recognised and The Ladies’ College, a Microsoft Showcase School, is already breaking ground in this area with its Future Ready Skills Programme and the recent appointment of a Director of Innovation. Daniele sits on the board of Innovate Guernsey.

Matt Thornton is a technologist with 15 years’ experience making machines do genuinely useful things. With a PhD in Remote Sensing and Computer Science, his work spans geostatistics, optimisation, and data fusion. A former ESA astronaut hopeful, Matt once shared a flight simulator with Tim Peake... probably.

Marc Winn

Automation, Efficiency & Productivity Panel Panel Chair

Marc Winn is a dedicated way-finder, mentor, and adviser at the intersection of human innovation and AI technology. In an era where traditional maps fall short, he specialises in guiding individuals, organisations, and communities through the complexities of an AI-enabled world. Marc has recently joined the board of Innovate Guernsey.

Mark Le Page

Is Decentralised Finance High Definition or Low Fidelity? Speaker One

An independent consultant in crypto, governance, and compliance, and a former Deputy Director at the GFSC. He has led regulatory practices for a Big 4 and a Guernsey consultancy, and is now a director of Lancaster Trustees, several charities, and a member of the Oxford Union’s audit committee. A former Chair of ACCA’s Global Business Law Forum, he remains active in its ethics work. Mark is completing a PhD in DeFi and holds an Executive Master’s from ESCP.

Jonathon Wauton

The Power of E-ID to Accelerate Speaker Two

Co-Founder and CEO of Tiller Technologies, with over 30 years’ experience in asset management and hedge funds, including as CIO at Ermitage Group. At Tiller, he leads the development of tools like “Verify by Tiller,” used by HSBC Expat to simplify cross-border compliance. His focus is on using user-centric tech to streamline complex regulatory workflows and drive digital transformation in financial services.

Tristan Knight

Transforming Unstructured Data with AI & RPA Speaker Three

Helping businesses work smarter through automation and document management strategies that improve efficiency and reduce complexity. With 15+ years in IT and managed services, he aligns technology with business goals to deliver real impact. A passionate innovator, he also contributes to open-source projects that support the wider developer community.

Having started up, run and sold businesses in various sectors including finance, technology, retail, sales and service Nick has a strong and clear understanding of best practice and how to succeed. He is based in Guernsey, Channel Islands, working with clients from across the world. Nick sits on the board of the Innovate Guernsey.
