Our Innovation Summit returned for another year at St Pierre Park, structured around four powerful themes, The Transformation Journey, People & Skills, Automation & AI, and FinTech Innovation.
The event delivered practical takeaways and fresh perspectives. From sharp keynotes to relaxed networking over coffee and canapés, the room buzzed with energy, ambition and collaboration.
Speakers included voices from PwC, UCL, Prosperity 24/7, Cortex, Tiller Tech, and Indulge, covering everything from workforce evolution to the practical realities of AI adoption. Discussions delved into how businesses can navigate change, communicate it effectively, and empower teams through emerging technologies. Panels explored the real impact of automation tools, the skill sets needed to thrive in tomorrow’s workplace, and the shifting landscape of financial innovation. It wasn’t just theory, it was packed with grounded insights, live use cases, and a clear sense that change is already happening.
Take for example James Linder's report where he highlighted the size of Guernsey's Digital Economy. With 3000+ jobs (more than we have working in Construction, Healthcare, or Education on the island) it makes up 11% of the Islands workforce, and over 6% of job vacancies being digital occupations. It demonstrated that without innovation in the ways companies operate they are likely to struggle along side those that make use the tools available to them.
The Summit is part of our mission to spotlight the people pushing Guernsey forward. To make noise about bold ideas, amplify the voices behind them, and back the change they’re driving.
