Don't Walk, Runna – Aquired by Strava
Exciting news from one of our members – Unbundled VC and the acquisition of the coaching app they invested in – Runna.
It’s always a good day when we get to celebrate a success story from within the Digital Greenhouse community.
Marc Cohen, one of our very own members – someone many of you may know from coffee chats or inspiring panel sessions – has shared some fantastic news. Through his company Unbundled VC, Marc invested in coaching app, Runna which has just been acquired by none other than the popular global fitness platform, a service with over 120 million users – Strava.
Runna themselves launched in 2021 with a simple mission: to make personalised, expert-led running plans accessible to everyone. In just a few years, the app has taken off – surpassing 1 million downloads, partnering with major fitness brands like Gymshark and Under Armour, and supporting runners across the globe. Now, with Strava behind them, the team is set to take their impact even further.
Marc has long been part of the Digital Greenhouse ecosystem, generously sharing his insights with Guernsey’s startups and founders. It’s a real joy to see this milestone reached, and we can’t wait to see what’s next for him and the Unbundled VC.
