We are excited to once again host Professor Dan Brown from University College London (UCL) on Wednesday 16 September 2026 for an interactive session exploring how to safeguard human creativity and intellectual property (IP) in an increasingly AI-driven world.
Sponsored by 1st Central Group as part of the Digital Innovators Programme, the face-to-face event is designed to debate the ethical implications of artificial intelligence.
During the event, Professor Brown will demonstrate a cutting-edge AI system developed at UCL that identifies IP theft and assists in building legal cases around digital infringements. Following the demonstration, attendees will debate what truly constitutes human-made intellectual property and how original work should be protected as technology evolves.
The event provides an opportunity to debate key ethical questions and network with peers and industry professionals.
