INSO Inspired: A Morning of Problem-Solving and Innovation

Bringing together innovators, entrepreneurs, and creative thinkers, Digital Greenhouse recently hosted INSO Inspired, an interactive problem-solving workshop designed to tackle challenges with fresh perspectives. 

Led by INSO co-founder Dan Wood as part of the Startup Expert Series, the event equipped attendees with practical techniques to overcome obstacles, generate innovative ideas, and explore new approaches using INSO’s two-stage system. In a condensed 45-minute workshop, Dan guided participants through the process, helping them take an identified problem through to prototyped solutions.

A strong advocate for collaboration and alternative problem-solving methods, Dan promotes the use of collaborative whiteboards - allowing everyone to contribute without the pressure of speaking out vocally. This approach helps uncover solutions that may not emerge in a typical corporate meeting while also amplifying hidden voices within an organisation. Additionally, INSO embraces the concept of a ‘wild card’, which, with permission, introduces an external participant to offer a fresh perspective on a project.

Attendees had the opportunity to support one another in finding solutions and expanding their professional networks, leaving the event with actionable insights ready for implementation. This dynamic format of interactive discussion is an excellent way to refine skills that may become dulled by persistent challenges or stagnation in a team’s creative thinking.
