What were the biggest challenges you faced that motivated you to join our co-working space?
My appalling internet at home and the fact that I missed human interaction. I’m a chatterbox and found myself talking to myself when I worked from home - not healthy! I also found it hard to have meetings in coffee shops but didn’t want to rent an actual office to look more professional. The Digital Greenhouse is the perfect in-between.
How has being a Hot Desk member impacted your ability to connect with other entrepreneurs and build your professional network?
Being a Hot Desk member has opened up many opportunities for me - I’ve met clients as well as found people to collaborate on projects with. You never know who you’re going to meet next.
Have you participated in any Digital Greenhouse programmes or events that proved beneficial for your business?
I had a mentor after taking part in Starting Up Saturday business bootcamp, which was invaluable.
How does our co-working space environment contribute to your productivity and focus compared to your previous work setting?
It’s really nice to have a separation between work and home. Walking into the office gives me the routine of going into work which really helps me. The different seating areas are ideal, I appreciate being able to sit by a sunny window if I want or the cosy pods. Meeting rooms are a major bonus too.
I use the meeting rooms multiple times a week, they’re invaluable. It makes me feel professional and has everything we need like screens etc.
In what ways has being part of a vibrant co-working space community influenced your creative process or business strategy, can you share an example of a positive impact on your business growth or development?
Meeting people from different walks of life always expands my creativity, plus being around like-minded business owners makes me up my game a bit more as we push each other!
What are the biggest advantages you have experienced by becoming a hot desk member at our co-working space?
Great atmosphere, good wifi, good vibes and fun times. Meeting rooms make my biz look more professional.
Would you recommend our co-working space to other professionals? If so, why?
Yes but not to too many because I don’t want them to steal my seat by the window 😎 it’s a great atmosphere and has a lot of facilities for a very reasonable monthly price!
