The Office of the Data Protection Authority has made some changes to their 2020 Events Programme, including postponing this event until further notice.

We want people to come away from this session with a sense of how data protection works in practice. This is aimed at staff with little or no specialist data protection knowledge.
We will explore the 'coalface' of data protection, what you need to do from a practical perspective to achieve and demonstrate compliance. We will do this via a worked case study of a hypothetical organisation. We will also touch on breach reporting.
You are very welcome to bring your lunch with you as we will not be providing lunch at this free event.
